I have come to the end of my journey and I have loved every single second of it.
I have learnt so many things about myself and about others.

I really don't want to leave and I could see myself moving out here in the future.  It's such a fab place to be.

The experiences i've had are some of the best ever and I shall never forget any of them. I have also met some amazing people and children.  They will all be close to me forever.

Suzy and I are going out tonight for a special meal as she goes early tomorrow morning so we are putting on the swish dresses and hitting the town (again)!  I didn't get home till 5am, Suzy left at 2. The club that we go to every night we are well known now so I was just sat with the guys and drinking my many free drinks! Hence leaving at 5!

Well think this is my last blog. I've really enjoyed writing it and I hope that you have all enjoyed reading it.

we had a major thunderstorm here last night which was terrible as it meant that we had to wait for it.....STAY IN!! Shock horror!  The rain was so bad that all the streets were flooded and there was massive forks of lightening! Bit worrying when our room is surrounded by pylons and wires!! 

All we could do was order a pizza and watch DVD's on the laptop.  I didn't have one drink! 1st night since I got here! 

Well Floozie and I will be making up for it tonight!

I've been shopping today and buying lots of "junk". That is what the shop sellers call it!

Of course I have been sunbathing and swimmimg too.

well Floozie and I lasted all night!! We rolled home at 7am and thought we'd go for a little swim in our pool, finally got to bed at 8am!

Was a wicked night, lots of vodka and meeting new people.

Floozie and I went out again last night!  Only took a dominoes pizza to make us feel human again!  Rolled home pretty early, about 3am.

Going to Nikki beach later to sunbathe and watch the sunset.

Just relaxing these last few days and topping up the tan. The sun is out in full force, woohoo!

Not long till I am back now!! Less than a week and i'm sure you have all missed me very much!! (I hope)! LOL

well we moved to our hotel today.  We have a roof top swimming poola nd our room is right next to it! How lucky are we.  After a night out i'll be able to have a morning swim to wake me up!

Not done much today. Went for a walk along the malecon and then stopped for an afternoon beer!

Floozie and I are trying out "Steves sports bar" later! Gotta be done!

Oh my god, at about 3am on our way home loads of blokes jumped out on us and made us have our photo taken with them! Was so funny!! Americans!! LOL

We are going out tonight and we are planning on staying out all night!! Hmm we'll see.

Right well best go and pick my laundry up, oh the glamour!!

well I feel I need to rant a bit so here goes!!
I am sick and tired of been the only volunteer who actually sticks to their shifts!! This morning I had to feed, bath and clean kitchen for 35 nino's on my own!! No other volunteers in sight!!  Some of them that occasionally bother to show up have never even picked up a mop!! It's not all about playing with the kids, you have to do the rubbish jobs too! ARGH!!!

OK rant over!! lol

Sol asked me to do some more painting with the kids on 4 canvas boards.  More of it has ended up on me!! Still it was worth it to see their little faces light up when they saw their handprint on the canvas.  Think I shall let them put handprints on my Original Volunteers t shirt as a souvenier.

Oh my word I also nearly got  run over this morning!! Miss timed the lights and the driver actually sped up to try and hit me, missed me by  centimetres. Good to know that I can still run! LOL.

Hmm not much else happening at the mo.  It's like I actually live here so have quite a boring routine now!  Although there shall be more drinks later on as it's Debs and Grace's last night.  Managed to get 3 hours sleep last night, so may have a little siesta if I feel tired later on.

well it's been an emotional morning.  Jane left to go to New York today. Really need to stop crying it's so not a good look!

Suzy and I are going to the other orphanage today so hopefully it will be as good as the last time.

Went out last night to a karaoke bar and ended up singing my fave meatloaf song with some bloke who we´ve met a few times. he didn't know any of the words which was shocking. Still he has a thing for Suzy so think he was trying to impress her! Unfortunately for me, floozie recorded the whole perfomance!  Didn't help singing after Jane as she used to be in West End plays such as Phantom. (she was Christine) she has the most amazing voice.

Well the sunshine is out properly today so shall be heading down to the beach to try and tan the back of my body!! Yes I will remember to put sun lotion on this time! Lesson learnt!

Four of us (floozie, Louise, Jane & moi) went on a brazillian wax mission!! For us 3 it was a 1st time!

Jane assured us that it doesn't hurt, but OH.MY.GOD!!!!!!!  It so does!!  Don't think i've laughed this much for ages. 3 of us in same room.......screaming!! LOL.

Had a play at the orphanage today that some of the others arranged and after quite some time waiting the kids put on a fab show.

Jane is leaving tomorrow so we are going out later ofr meal and drinks. Already had a few beers on the malacon watching the world go by.

Well sure I had other things to say but really can't seem to remember them right now, probably the beer taking affect!

well it has finally happened, I am burnt!  Fell asleep with no suncream on for 3 hours and now my legs are hurting!!! On the defensive side there was actually no sun out!  Oh well in a coulple of days they will be lovely and brown! LOL.

Was up at 4am to say goodbye to Kate and walk her to the taxi place.  The group is geting smaller and smaller!

Floozie and I have booked into a hotel for the last week. We feel that we need a bit of luxury for the last week and no work!  Well I ave been very busy you know!.

Right well time for me to have a glass of vino with wino janeo!! Love it.
